No Place like OM

And then it was happening... the dreams had become a reality. The ideas and vision had taken shape and Om Lounge was born! Recently in one of my classes, I made a comment about the amount of support and kindness that has been bestowed on me since opening the Om Lounge and how I was learning to accept it and be comfortable with it. Maybe you can relate to my dysfunctional thinking; sometimes it's harder to accept love and support, easier to hear the negative stuff because it confirms the negative voices in our heads. So many of us have a hard time taking a compliment. Why is that? So with all the love that has been showered on The Om Lounge, I am learning to take it all in and embrace it.  It's of course such an obvious play on words, "There is no place like OM." But come on, I can't help but love it. For me, it's true (okay maybe Tulum, Mexico is right up there). And the intention behind the phrase is not meant to be crapping all over anyone else's place. It's simply the idea that at Om Lounge, our mission is to hopefully give you a space where you learn that you are capable of more than you know and when you are in that place where you know yourself, you are home. No matter where that is.
