Lauren Bursick

Lauren was raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh and movement has always been very important to her mental and physical well being.Lauren’s first in studio yoga class was at a hot studio with a friend who found it on Groupon. She practiced every once in a while, until she needed it to get through the bumpy times in life and found it as a way to cope with daily stressors.
Yoga had such a deep impact on Lauren that she decided to complete her 200 Hr Teacher Training with The Om Lounge in 2020. After teaching for some time, she wanted to keep learning and growing so she completed a 300 Hour program with Faith Hunter which she completed in March of 2024. She took a deeper dive into energetics, breathwork, Kundalini, the Spiritually Fly sequencing and understanding the business of yoga. In Lauren’s classes, you can expect a classic Om Lounge Vinyasa Krama style that feels smooth while creating space. She aims to meet you where you are on the mat with plenty of opportunities to adjust. As a member of the yoga training staff and studio manager, you will see Lauren connecting with the community and helping new teachers thrive! Outside of teaching, Lauren spends time with her husband and two cats. She enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants and learning more about yoga!
